My wife and I started Broadway Press in February 2019 with a vision of reducing food waste from local Cotswold orchards by using an innovative processing method. As a chemical engineer I decided to become the first in the UK to scale-up a novel cryo-extraction method to produce our drinks range. Our trademark Ice Cyder® and Iced Apple Juice has become a hit with local Cotswold pubs, hotels, cafes, bars, farm shops and garden centres throughout the region, becoming a must-try for tourists visiting from around the country and the globe. We are very proud that our cyders are a hit with both cider and non-cider drinkers!
As a tourist hotspot, this has already led to a substantial online following and our drinks are now shipped throughout the UK. At our first festival, we proudly showcased Broadway Press at The Royal Three Counties Show in June 2019, and soon became the People's Cider Champions, winning the award with an unassailable lead. Our Ice Cyder® reputation continues to grow and we are now working with a growing number of drinks wholesalers who want to offer our products beyond the Cotswolds too. In January 2020 our Original Ice Cyder® made it to our first CAMRA festival in Colchester and immediately scooped the Cider of the Festival Award! We are very proud that our cyders are a hit with both the cider and non-cider drinkers!
