Description
The start of a brand new series with Mark Newton; a project which will showcase photography from Mark's time spent cruising the west coast of America. To kick start the series, we collaborated with Queer Brewing Project, a non-profit, collaborative beer initiative looking to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues in the beer world and beyond. The idea for the beer was created when Brian and Lily discussed having a beer that would tick the box for drinkability and refreshment as we enter the summer months and no doubt we're all in the quest for the perfect accompaniment to lazy days in the beer garden. What better says sunshine in a can than a 2.8% radler with fresh lemon and dry hopped with lemon drop hops? The result is a super sessionable radler style light IPA with the great zesty character of comminuted lemons added in fermentation. This style of beer was the perfect opportunity to use one of our favourite hops, Lemondrop. This lesser-used US variety contributes a lovely lemon balm character with a touch of light zest which complements the fruit beautifully.
