Founded in 1950 by Avelino Vegas in Segovia, the winery is now run by his sons and grandchildren. Avelino Vegas produces wines in the Rueda and Ribera del Duero appellations, focusing on quality and innovation.
The winery controls 600 hectares of Verdejo vineyards in Rueda and 500 hectares of Tempranillo in Ribera del Duero. Using advanced technology and 3000+ French and American oak barrels, Avelino Vegas produces a range of young wines, Crianzas, and Reservas.
