Blue Monkey was born on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire in 2008. In 2010 we built a lovely shiny new brewery in Giltbrook, where we can produce 40,000 pints of beer a week.
We brew more than a dozen different types of beer including: Pale Ales, Stouts, Dark Ruby Ales and Black IPAs. We also have a wonderful range of luscious fruit gins, all based on our classic London Dry.We like to think we’re big enough though to guarantee quality and consistency, whilst still small enough to remain a tight knit team of beer enthusiasts, who are fortunate enough to be able to brew the beers we love.
