Founded in November 2015 by father and son team Robert and James, The Brew Foundation produces the finest quality cask and keg beers with a focus on hoppy session beers. To define the Brew Foundation's location is trickier than most! We're deemed a "local" brewery by three places: Sheffield, the Peak District and Cheshire. Brewer and Director James lives in Sheffield but cuckoo brews at the Wincle Beer Company in the Cheshire Peak District. This has allowed The Brew Foundation to build a loyal following on either side of Pennines, and beyond.
