Kentwood Brewing

From humble home brewing beginnings, Sean Wood and Lewis Kent are now brewing both traditional and contemporary beers and supplying to bars around Edinburgh and the Lothians as well as directly on 3 taps within the famous listed Prestongrange Gothenburg, where the brewery is located.

.Kentwood Brewing are based in the heart of East Lothian where they brew a selective collection of cask and bottle conditioned ales from only natural ingredients.
From our microbrewery in Prestonpans we can produce batches of up to 2,500 litres (550 gallons).
We aim to use as much locally grown malt as possible. However, as far as we know, East Lothian has yet to become a rich source of hops, so those are still brought in from wherever they are best grown.
Having only officially started brewing commercially in April 2016, the Kentwood boys have already been shortlisted as a finalist in the Scottish Beer Awards (announced June 2016) for their version of the famous Fowler's Wee Heavy following a blind tasting by some of the country's most renowned beer experts.
