We’re here to make good things happen We’re on a mission to make some amazing beers, but there’s no reason why we can’t help some great causes along the way as well. Our belief is that we can all do great things to make this world a better place. So a proportion of our profits will go directly to funding just that. The aim is to bring people together to run community projects in all parts of the UK – from litter picking events on beaches, to community sustainability projects and green initiatives, as well as brewing apprenticeships for disadvantaged young adults to gain valuable career and life skills.
State of Kind brew co launched in spring 2021. As you can imagine, it’s taken a fair bit of planning, and yes, you’re right, we basically started a brewery in the middle of a global pandemic.
This isn’t quite as crazy as it sounds. In a funny way, it’s ideal: if we can make it work now, we can make it work any time, whatever the world throws at us.
We’re launching first as a gypsy brewer, with four gorgeous core beers created using spare capacity on the premises of some kind, creative and brilliant brewing friends.
But we don’t plan to stay on the move for long. Once the pubs have fully re-opened and we’ve recovered from the celebrations, the plan is to launch our very own state-of-the-art brewery and taproom.
Hopefully, if all goes to plan, by the time Christmas 2021 rolls around you can come and say cheers in person...
