Las Veletas, a gem in the Maule Valley, originated as a passionate project in San Javier. Founder Raúl Dell’Oro recovered old vines of País, Carignan, and traditional varietals, partnering with enologist Rafael Tirado. Initially a family and friends endeavor, the winery prioritizes freedom for experimentation, producing limited batches of high-quality wine.
The Mediterranean climate and granitic-clayey soil contribute to unique terroir. Las Veletas actively promotes the region's wine heritage through projects like Ruta del Vino Valle del Maule and Almaule.
