Founded in 1952, Vignerons du Castelas is a cooperative winery in Rochefort-du-Gard, encompassing 450 hectares within the Côtes du Rhône appellation. The cooperative comprises 45 families dedicated to maintaining the region's rich winemaking traditions.
The vineyards feature diverse soil types, including deep stony soils, spreading marl soils, sandy soils, and Villafranchian terraces. They grow 21 grape varieties, with significant production of Grenache Noir (47%) and Syrah (15%).
