Long Man Brewery

The Award Winning Long Man Brewery is based at Church Farm, Litlington, Sussex in the Heart of the South Downs National Park. Sustainability and quality are at the heart of what we do.

The Long Man Brewery is based in a converted flint barn at Church Farm, Litlington, in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Our name was inspired by the famous Long Man of Wilmington, an imposing figure cut into the chalk downs and situated within the boundaries of the farm itself. We grow the Spring Barley used in our beers and strive to source everything we can (even our workforce) from within the beautiful Cuckmere Valley.
Environmental sustainability is important to us and our brewery is powered by solar energy generated on the farm. We also feed our spent grain to the livestock and have a treatment plant which allows us to reuse our waste water for irrigation. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to brewing great, award winning beers but with every brew we endeavour to produce the consistent high quality that discerning drinkers expect from hand crafted, cask conditioned ales. All our cask ale is produced in our bespoke brew plant using whole flower hops, our own barley and unique cultivated live yeast strain that give our beers their wonderful flavours and character.
