Why Neckstamper? Not a literal meaning - but looking to Londons rich brewing history. Neck-stamper was the slang term given to the pot boy at an ale-house in the 1700s. The neck-stampers job was to collect the empty bottles or tankards previously sent out to private homes - stamping around the streets with the empties strung around his neck.
