Spirit of The Lakes was founded by Vince Wilkins in 2008 with the ambition of creating the first gin made with Lake District spring water. Working with a master distiller a blend of botanicals, including Lake District oak bark, was created to complement the characteristics of the local spring water. Since it's introduction Bedrock has won numerous awards including local, national, and international recognition.
Spirit of The Lakes was founded by Vince Wilkins in 2008 and has been producing Bedrock gin for the past 5 years. During this time Bedrock gin has become well known for its smooth mellow style and fresh citrus essences. A 5cl miniature gin was added to the range in May 2012 and in July 2013 the launch of Standing Stones vodka was announced.
