Description
Borshch IPA. Inspired by Gazza's trips to Eastern Europe, this is a bright purple beer is sure to be a show stopper when poured! Full-bodied, sweet and with plenty of mouthfeel, the beetroot is there but without the earthiness you'd expect, more a sweetness, and the 12g / litre hoprate of A-list US hops (Citra, Eldorado, Mosaic) gives a delicious fruitiness to the flavour. Bitterness is kept low; the real stars here are the beetroot and US hops... this isn't like much else you will have tried before!
The beer was brewed before Putin's horrific invasion of Ukraine, but is being retrospectively dedicated to the downfall of dictators everywhere.
