Eyton Gold

Description

Eyton Gold 4%abv is a golden session beer brewed with cascade and Golding hops to create a well rounded ale.

This bottled beer won two stars at the Great Taste awards 2022 and Silver at The Society of Independent Brewers awards 2022.

In 2019 the beer won Gold in British Beer up to 4.4%abv in the SIBA independent beer awards for Wales and West region.

The Great Taste judges comments about Eyton Gold are below;

“This rose-gold crystal clear beer has a gentle sparkle. There is a great toasty nose. On tasting the toast and honey follow through with a delicate bitterness that fills the mouth and lingers long on the palate. It is subtle yet full of flavour and packs quite a punch for a 4% ABV. This would be as good sipping by a log fire (with said Welsh rarebit!) as in the garden on a warm sunny day. Lovely beer, well-crafted and very drinkable. Great job!”

“A rich amber appearance with excellent clarity and good head retention. Rich and smooth tasting with a clean finish. Hints of warm roasted chestnut, rich malty notes, caramel sweetness and a smoky tobacco finish. Clever bitterness is disguised rather than dominant and brings a depth and roundness. Fully flavoured, balanced, very satisfying and tastes as good as it looks. The pleasing carbonation is gentle and leaves a playful effervescence on the tongue. A truly enjoyable drink.”
