Description
A Single Hop Pale Ale made exclusively with 'Cascade' hops grown in USA, Australia & Germany. Each regional Cascade hop being used at different stages of the brewing process to bring out it's best characteristics.
Expect a soft, pillowy mouthfeel from the generous amounts of oats and wheat used in the mash and an exceptionally pleasing and complex level of citrus flavour from the Cascade hops.
Project Apollo:
A new series of beers to fully explore the outer limits of what a single hop can give to a beer.
With each beer, we will be focusing on one hop variety, brewed in a pale ale style, with the aim of extracting and showcasing the maximum amount of flavour and aroma from our chosen hop.
By carefully adjusting ABV, composition, and methodology used, we will be aiming to create entirely unique, surprisingly nuanced beers, bursting with flavour and complexity. Single hop does not mean one dimensional!
We will be utilising underused and underappreciated hops, taking old favourites in new and unexpected directions, as well as exploring new varieties from all over the globe.
To complement each hop, we will be researching and using traditional recipes and techniques, combining these with modern ingredients, equipment and methods, tracing the evolution of beer and building on the foundations of what has come before
Some of the beers will be tropical juice bombs, some light and floral, others dank and resinous, earthy and herbal; it all depends on what the hop dictates.. and what we want to drink.
