Description
A deep amber beer with a slight malty sweetness, nutty liquorice combining with light tannins for that traditional brown ale bite. A classic Newcastle brown ale, craft brewed in Blaydon 400yds from the River Tyne and under 5 miles from Newcastle City Centre. The bottle label shows the old suspension "Chainbridge" between Blaydon and Newcastle on Scotswood Road made famous in the Newcastle Anthem The Blaydon Races.
