Description
‘Hikari Ichi’ translates from Japanese to “Light one”. This beer is light in both colour and alcohol. We have added a healthy amount of oats in this Very Pale Ale in order to give a slightly smoother mouth feel to the beer. The additions of oats also give the beer a small bit of haze to lock in the flavour! At only 3.8%, this beer is perfect for summer time session drinking. We have used the Japanese ‘Sorachi Ace’ hop throughout the brewing process for the bittering, flavour and aroma profile of this beer. Sorachi Ace should give aromas and flavours of predominately sweet lemon but also some dill. This beer is not very bitter, however the Sorachi Ace flavour should stick around the palate for a while.
