Description

Echo is inspired by our audio sister-company Mammoth Audio. Before we had the brewery set up, they used our tanks to create a sample pack for musicians by physically hitting the empty vessels with a range of objects. Whilst what they created was an unwavering success in a musical sense, one striking and lasting image was the employment of a boxing glove on a stick being whacked against our hot liquor tank.

Echo is our latest IPA; a big and juicy hop forward beer, with a hazy and silky body and mouthfeel that neatly balances out the hop-aggression. We coupled big late-kettle additions with a big dry hop to give a great complexity of hop flavours and aromas. The liberal addition of flaked oats into the mash tun helps introduce sessionability to such a bold beer. At 6.2%, Echo is a sipping beer that tricks you into gulping.

Echo is unfiltered with a natural haze (meaning it is suitable for vegans) and best enjoyed when stored cold and drunk as fresh as possible.
