Fika

Description

Fika is a ritual in Sweden which generally means having a break with friends or colleagues to eat cake and drink coffee. Having experienced this while working in Gothenburg it didn’t matter how busy anyone was, everybody, whatever their role stopped to enjoy an informal, relaxing time with each other sharing food and drinks.

If there was a beer equivalent of this concept it would be a sessional; the universal go-to that brings people together to break from the routine and share good times.
