Description
a 10.0% Imperial Stout, brewed in collaboration with Heretic Brewing (US). First brewed in early 2019 with our old friend Jamil, we aged the beer in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 18 months before re-brewing a clean version and blending it back, dialling in a boozy and rich flavour profile from both sides of the Atlantic. Well worth the wait. Pale Ale malt provides the base, Aromatic, Black, Carafa III, Crystal, Roast Barley and Special B added for colour, flavour and body, along with Dextrose and LACTOSE. Fuggles hops for bittering. Fermented with our house West Coast Ale and Champagne yeast strain. Aged 18 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Conditioned on cacao nibs.
