Description

An exercise is liquid recursion, this India Pale Ale is brewed in the style of a US IPA but with all UK ingredients. Brook House Hops in Herefordshire grow classic US hop varieties such as Cascade and Chinook in UK soil, and these hops bring the classic US IPA aromas of dank pine and bright citrus, all built upon a solid foundation of Thomas Fawcetts finest UK-grown malted barley. Malt and hops jockey in equilibrium for a soft, fruity, and pleasingly bitter India Pale Ale that is endlessly drinkable at every juncture. APPEARANCE: Vivid copper-gold body topped with clouds of thick, white head; frothy retention yields to an ample and creamy cap of foam. AROMA: Starting with lemon zest and hints of herbaceous pine, that builds into sweet clementine and caramel malt undertones; wisps of apricot and stone fruit contribute on the back end before a big citrusy orange and grapefruit hit. TASTE: Bold grassy & citrus bitterness, eases to a floral, grassy, and toffee biscuit sweetness. Mouthfeel shows a chewy medium body, elevated by a balanced fluffy carbonation and a clean resin bitterness on the tongue, leading to lingering, oily finish.
