Description

This was the first beer we ever made. Gyle number one, and the recipe we have 5.7% changed the least (not at all). Its a direct copy of a very famous 1914 imp stout recipe crafted by a brewery that used to make beer not that far from where Partizan is now. Neither dry or sweet but just rich, powerful and stout. An indulgent roasty treat perfect at the end of a good supper or evening meal. Light acidity from the black malt helps cut through the portliness making a lush and moreish tonic of a beer. Something like nothing else and very, very London...
