Description
We designed a traditional dry stout with amber and dark malts and some English hops with the intention of adding in some tasty blackberries to give a true hedgerow experience. As it happened we ended up adding rather a lot of tasty blackberries, 90 grams per litre in fact, thats over 50g a pint!! The result is a beautiful, dark, rich beer with a suggestion of dark fruit on the nose followed by a delicious stout with a pleasantly tart acidity from early season blackberries.
