10th Birthday Series #1 - Quad

Description

We start big, it is our birthday after all (and we’ll cry if we want to). Decadence in a glass, rich toffee and soft spice with a hint of vanilla and oak thanks to ageing for 4 months in Fettercairn whisky barrels.

Our neighbours at Fettercairn Distillery make innovative and great tasting whisky. They also share our passion for provenance and are committed to using local ingredients where possible. In the future we look forward to being able to age our beer in barrels made of oak grown in the Fettercairn Forest. For now though they were kind enough to provide us with some top quality freshly emptied barrels in which to age this beer. We made a big, powerful and rich beer to stand up to take on the great flavours of the barrel.
