5p from each 330ml can of Above & Beyond goes back the the RNLI (as part of an official partnership between St Andrews Brewing Company and the RNLI). The beer is a 4.2% Golden Ale - from Scotland's Gold Coast. Light with hints of citrus and honey tones, a great refreshing summer beer. Unfiltered & Unfined. Why the RNLI? Well our brewery is by the seaside, we know some of the local RNLI volunteers and they promised us a go driving their lifeboat! We did a naming competition for this beer which nearly broke Face Book! - OK not quite but it went pretty nuts. The Name "Beery McBeer Face" would have won by a mile if it had been a public vote, but it wasn't, so it didn't! We tapped a sample keg of Above & Beyond for our usual farmers market bar and it sold out in two hours. Customers love the partnership and that a meaningful contribution is going back to a charity they appreciate. So buy some cans, it might just SOS. Cheers!
