Govinda Chevallier Edition, 6.8% 2018 2 STAR Great Taste AWARD WINNER! a heritage 1830's Burton Upon Trent IPA Recipe, Brewed using only Chevallier Malt (a Heritage Barley Malt Variety grown Between 1822 & 1934), & East Kent Goldings, this is a very Different beer & we believe as close to a true Victorian Beer as we can get today. Chevallier malt gives a very full bodied finish with an apricot jam flavour and aroma, we have to use a massive amount of east kent golding hops to balance this beer, it is a true taste of the past, and our tribute to British Brewing Heritage.
