We couldn't think of better folks to help us brew our first Dunkel than our friends at Schilling Beer Co, a modern European-inspired brewery from Littleton, NH. They make some of the best lagers in the US and we were honoured to get to brew this beer with them.
A deep, dark reddish black and initially dry; crisp bread crust mutates into cacao nibs, cola bottle sweets and caramel syrup. Exceptionally drinkable, yet as warming as a wood fire. Absolutely perfect as we head into the colder, darker months.
