This is the one that started it all… 10 years ago!
Benchmark is one of the original beers brewed by our founder Jordan in his shed in Hove. It also gleaned UnBarred our first ever award and the recipe was the springboard from which we developed our flagship beer, Joosy.
We’re delighted to bring back this piece of UnBarred history to toast our tenth anniversary as a brewery - What a journey it’s been!
Benchmark boasts a generous fragrance of fresh hops and soft fruitiness alongside a palate of gentle, biscuity malts. It finishes with a crisp dryness that shines a spotlight on the citrus character of Amarillo & Simcoe hops.
Expect bursts of tangerine, grapefruit, tropical fruits & pine: this session IPA is bright, bitter & hop-forward, just like they used to be!
