10 Barrel Series - one-off beers inspired by anything and everything.
Inspiration:
The second lager of the 10 Barrel Series, and another style we love. Don’t judge this beer by its looks – it’s not a porter or a stout. It drinks more like its lighter, better known cousin – German Pilsner. Debittered black malt gives the beer colour but with a smooth and restrained roasty character, whilst traditional noble hops keep things nicely balanced. A clean fermenting lager yeast and 5 weeks brewing time results in a beer with a crisp, dry finish. Another example of what lagers can and should be.
