Description
Our Kolsch style lager is traditionally brewed with lager malt, classic German Noble hops and a top fermenting ale yeast and chill conditioned for 4 weeks.
The result is a delicately balanced thirst quenching lager with a subtle fruit aromas and clean malt flavours, perfect for just about any occasion.
Named after Covesea Skerries Lighthouse, a local landmark situated 2 miles to the west of the brewery. The lighthouse watched over our shores around Lossiemouth and the Moray Firth from 1846 to 2012 when it was discontinued following the installation of a new buoy and radar beacon on the nearby Halliman Skerries. The original lens from the lighthouse can be seen in the Lossiemouth Fisheries and Community Museum.
