Description

From the sun-drenched terroir of Castilla La Mancha, where the climate and soil contribute to the grape’s intensity, resulting in a wine that is both bold and approachable. A moreish and spicy wine, featuring aromas of milk chocolate, sweet plums and a whiff of black pepper. Rich but balanced with dark chocolate and ripe plum flavours taking centre stage. It’s full-bodied with mellow tannins and a long finish, with just the right touch of oak from its 3-month ageing in both American and French barrels. The brief oak ageing imparts subtle complexity without overpowering the wine’s inherent qualities.
