Strawberries on Sea // Chef Series x Anthony Raffo

The Earth Ale Chef Series is a collaboration project with like-minded chefs, who are passionate about bringing people together and closer to nature, through delicious experiences. We wanted to celebrate their unique creativity and channel that into distinctive beers that pair well with food.

Anthony Raffo is an inspiring chef who has an adventurous approach to cooking and fermentation, so his style was the perfect muse for the first beer in the series.

Strawberries-on-Sea: Taking a leaf out of Raffo’s book, we’ve taken 200kg of British strawberries and lacto-fermented them with Blackthorn sea salt. The result is a refreshing gose, packed with strawberry sherbet notes, cut with seaspray.
