Description
Scotch Ale. Named for the cathedral that rises from the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, St. Giles pours dark brown with an off-white head. The nose is a combination of traditional Scottish malt and American Cascade hops. The taste is full bodied, rich and smooth with coffee and chocolate flavours. Somewhere between an 80/-, a Scotch ale and a brown ale or strong mild, this is a fantastic food beer and can be found in the 'Burgh's top restaurants. Think game, or steak pie and you're onto a winner.
